Comedian/actors Dave Chappelle and Chris Tucker will join forces at the Saenger Theatre on February 15th for an unforgettable night of hilarity. Both Chappelle and Tucker have acquired years of stand-up comedy, acting and producing among other talents.
Dave Chappelle began his film care in 1993 as Ahchoo in Mel Brooks’ Robin Hood: Men in Tights and then subsequently landed rolls in box office hits including The Nutty Professor, Con Air, and Blue Streak. His first lead role was in the 1998 comedy film Half Baked, which he co-wrote with Neal Brennan.
Chris Tucker is best known for playing the role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series. He became a favorite on Russell Simmons’ HBO Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s and came to prominence in his first starring role, the 1995 film cult classic Friday starring alongside Ice Cube. In 1997, Tucker was an executive producer and co-starred in the hit movie, Money Talks with Charlie Sheen and then appeared in the highly successful Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element.
